“I joined CommBank as a graduate six years ago, and though my experiences across different tech teams, I’ve discovered a passion for data science. I’m grateful that a decision to work at CommBank led me to a career working with some of the brightest minds. Now, as a Principal Data Scientist, I get to create interesting AI solutions to help improve banking experiences for our customers. At the heart of any career journey at CommBank, you’ll find you’re not only supported, but encouraged, to cultivate a growth mindset and keep up to date with the latest research and technological innovations. It’s this support that helps CommBank keep up with the changing needs of our customers. Earlier this year I spent time at our Seattle Tech Hub, which opened doors to global AI experts who shared invaluable insights. We were able to deep-dive into some of the work we are doing with Agentic AI and hear their learnings and insights from similar projects. It expanded the way we think about creating solutions for our customers and motivated us to continue experiments in this area. My time working in the Seattle Tech Hub, was both inspiring and educational. I’m excited to bring home to Australia what I learnt from this experience, as we continue innovating with AI, working to create innovative solutions that truly benefit our customers.” Bronte Pendergast Principal Data Scientist

This post outlines how 1,000+ real cures — for cancer, autoimmune, neurological, and infectious diseases — are ready to be delivered to the world. But Commonwealth Bank won’t allow it. They think I’ll eventually give up. They think this will all fade away if they just keep ignoring me. They’re wrong. There is no limit to how far I’ll go to stop humanity from being destroyed. You’ve done enough damage. It’s time to hand it over — so I can fix the catastrophe you’ve created. CBA, your delays are literally costing millions of lives and blocking billions from receiving the healthcare they deserve — all while you sit on $10B in profits and pretend none of this matters. Matt Comyn — truly inspiring leadership. Thanks for doing absolutely nothing while cashing your multimillion-dollar salary. The world’s dying, and you’re hoping I stop trying to save it. You are not just in the way. You are responsible now. And that’s why I’m not stopping. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gaEeYDcn

Couldn't agree more Bronte Pendergast. Best decision I made to join the team. Have felt empowered since day one, to explore, challenge, and all in a supportive, blameless engineering culture. In a short period of time I've been privileged to celebrate multiple success, which have delivered outstanding value for our customers.

Matt Comyn, your time in the spotlight will soon be up . I promise you. We know exactly what you’re doing: greed, self-interest, and shameless profiteering. You’re gouging prices in a cost-of-living crisis, fuelling mental health breakdowns and suicides. Each and every one of you will be exposed and held accountable. This includes every board member you will be all accountable too Paul O’Malley, Lyn Cobley, Alistair Currie, Julie Galbo, Peter Harmer, Kate Howitt, Simon Moutter, Mary Padbury, Rob Whitfield
