Grateful for the opportunity to attend the Women in Business Summit: StrongHER boldHER today. This wasn't just another business conference, it was a masterclass in bold leadership and strategic growth. Key takeaways that I'm implementing immediately: ✅️ How to authentically differentiate in a crowded market (thank you Jennifer Lier) ✅️ The psychology behind pricing strategies that close deals instead of hearing "no" (Mark Stiving's session was game-changing) ✅️Negotiation frameworks for confidently asking for what we deserve (Ms. Camay McClure-Dunn) ✅️ Building an influential brand story that moves from invisible to impactful (Hilary Billings) The caliber of speakers—all CEOs and founders—brought real-world experience and proven strategies. But beyond the content, the collective energy of women committed to scaling their businesses with integrity and boldness was truly inspiring. To my fellow attendees: let's continue supporting each other's growth. The connections we made today are just the beginning. What's one bold move you're making in your business this quarter? #WomenInBusiness #Leadership #Entrepreneurship #LasVegasPhotographer #LasVegasHeadshotPhotographer #LasVegasBrandPhotographer #ChezarayPhotography

🌟 Reflections from the Markham Board of Trade’s Women’s Networking Luncheon 🌟 Today, I had the privilege of attending an incredible event hosted by the Richmond Hill Board of Trade, where a panel of powerhouse women entrepreneurs shared their journeys—from humble beginnings to becoming wildly successful business leaders. Here are 3 powerful lessons I walked away with: 💡 1. Resilience is a Superpower Every speaker faced significant challenges early on—financial hurdles, self-doubt, and skepticism from others. What set them apart was their unwavering commitment to keep going, even when the path wasn’t clear. 💡 2. Community Fuels Growth Whether it was mentorship, peer support, or simply showing up for each other, these women emphasized the importance of building and leaning on a strong network. Success isn’t a solo journey. 💡 3. Purpose Drives Perseverance Each entrepreneur had a deep connection to why they started their business. That sense of purpose helped them weather storms and stay focused on their long-term vision. I left feeling inspired, energized, and reminded that behind every successful woman is a story of grit, grace, and growth. 🙌 Thank you to the Markham Board of Trade and all the speakers for creating such a meaningful space for connection and learning. #WomenInBusiness #Entrepreneurship #Leadership #Networking #RichmondHillBOT #LessonsLearned #Resilience #PurposeDriven

One piece of advice I’d give to women entrepreneurs — work as a team. Success is never a solo act. Collaboration brings strength, clarity, and momentum to every vision. When women support each other, they don’t just build businesses — they build ecosystems. . The equipment and manufacturing industry has traditionally been seen as a man’s world. But every day, more women are stepping in, not to compete, but to redefine what leadership looks like. In this industry, success has often been measured by scale, speed, and output. But I’ve learned that true impact comes from something deeper, creating access, building trust, and helping others grow. At YES (Your Equipment Suppliers) and Roll Ice Cream LLC, our mission goes beyond supplying machines. We’re building ecosystems, empowering entrepreneurs. Representation matters. When women lead in spaces where they’re least expected, it challenges outdated narratives and opens doors for others to follow. We need more women not just at the table, but building new tables. Because leadership isn’t about fitting into the mold. It’s about reshaping the mold so others can rise too. #leadership #innovation #entrepreneurship #growthjourney #womeninleadership #KrystlePhillips #RIC #YES #persistance
