AI won’t fix your delivery problems unless you fix your cycle first. As a CTO-led team, we’ve seen both ends of the spectrum: On one hand, AI demos that look like magic. On the other, a team stuck in never-ending sprints, Jira sprawl, and planning meetings that generate more process than progress. We’ve learned that AI can accelerate delivery, but ONLY if your system can handle the speed. That’s why we’ve been testing something we call the Day 3 Cycle: it’s a full software loop (Plan → Build → Test → Ship) completed in just three days. We’re seeing thorough, robust products made, tested, and shipped within three days (No, this is not a drill!). The Day 3 Plan is driven by a clear spec, an AI assistant (like Cursor or Kiro), and tight automation, and it’s designed for real-world teams working in legacy environments with modern expectations. The teams that adapt fastest won’t be the ones with the flashiest demos. They’ll be the ones with a delivery system that scales on purpose. Check out how the plan works [https://lnkd.in/eAQgDv6F]. #TheMavricMethod #SoftwareDev

🚀 Last week's AI meetup was packed with insights and real-world lessons! 🎤 Miel Donkers (Principal Software Engineer @ Dash0) Shared how Dash0 integrates AI end-to-end, from improving data quality to debugging production issues. It was great to see practical code and demos that showed where AI truly adds value, and where human expertise is still key. 🎤 Maik Kingma (Software Craftsman @ the/experts.) Took us on a ride with “VIBEBUSTERS: Who You Gonna Call when the Stack Fights Back”. Instead of just PoCs, he pushed AI agents to their limits in building a full SaaS platform. The talk highlighted both the power and pitfalls of today’s AI and agentic tooling: full of energy, humor, and valuable takeaways. ✨ Key theme of the evening: AI is moving beyond hype into real, production-level use cases, but it’s not magic. The right mix of human expertise and AI-driven automation makes the difference. Thanks to everyone who joined and contributed to the discussions! 💡 #AI #ArtificialIntelligence #Meetup #SoftwareEngineering #AgenticAI #SaaS #Innovation #TechCommunity #theexperts

The best solution isn't always the most impressive one. We learned this early: complexity is seductive, but impact is what matters. We started building ambitious features—sophisticated workflows, multiple integrations, the kind of capabilities that look impressive in demos. Then we talked to customers. The biggest wins? Often the simplest solutions. The obvious problems that seemed almost too straightforward to prioritize. Building AI products isn't just about technical capability. It's about the discipline to ask "What actually moves the needle?" and the courage to choose impact over impressiveness. Some of our best decisions have been about what not to build.

I've analyzed 31 LinkedIn posts about AI tools. Here's what nobody talks about: Most automation platforms promise "no-code." Then hand you a blank canvas and 47 tutorial videos. n8n.io just flipped that script. Their AI Agent Framework 2.0 dropped Oct 16. Early SaaS teams are reporting 400% higher lead conversion. Not in 6 months. In weeks. Here's what changed: Complex workflows that took dev teams days? Now built in under 5 minutes. Zero coding knowledge required. The real unlock isn't the speed. It's the cost avoidance.

AI’s evolving role in software development has created a tension between rapid code generation and quality. In the real world, true disruption is more than just velocity, it’s about delivering intelligent, reliable software at scale. You can’t vibe-code mission-critical systems. Businesses need security, compliance, and measurable ROI — not hype. Join Arun Gupta, VP Developer Experience at JetBrains, for an insightful #sponsored session on how AI built for developers is reshaping the industry, and why elevating code quality, not just speed, will become the new measure of success: https://tcrn.ch/3s9Jsw6
