The cybersecurity talent crunch in India isn’t just a hiring challenge — it’s becoming an operational threat. According to The Economic Times, there are 25,000–30,000 open cybersecurity roles right now — up nearly 30% from 2023. But here’s the real problem: over 50% of professionals lack critical problem-solving and security design skills. In other words, most organisations have more attack surfaces than defenders. And as Agentic AI and GenAI systems become part of daily operations, the attack surface is exploding even faster. Cloud security, zero-trust frameworks, and AI-linked protection are no longer “nice-to-have” — they’re mandatory. 💡 What this means for IT leaders: Build internal cybersecurity capability before scaling AI tools. Prioritise reskilling — your next cybersecurity expert might already be on your team. Choose IT partners who understand secure infrastructure design, not just hardware delivery. At Triplesinfo, we’re seeing a pattern — companies upgrading servers, networks, and workstations to prepare for a more secure, AI-driven environment. Because the next breach won’t come from code — it’ll come from the skills gap. What’s your take — should organisations focus on training existing staff or hiring external specialists to bridge this gap? #CyberSecurity #AITalent #ITSolutions #Infrastructure #DataSecurity #CIOInsights #GenAI #AgenticAI

Day 63 / 100 — Technology Sector Challenge 💻 Topic: Cybersecurity 🔒 — The Fastest-Rising Vertical in IT If Cloud built the digital world, then Cybersecurity protects it. 🌐 As enterprises move everything — apps, data, and AI — online, security spending is booming. 🔹 What Cybersecurity Means in IT It’s not just firewalls and passwords anymore. In IT services, it covers: Threat detection: spotting attacks in real time Identity & access management: right access for the right people Cloud security: protecting workloads on AWS, Azure, GCP Managed security operations (SOCs): 24×7 monitoring Compliance & risk: meeting strict client and government data laws 📊 FY25 Updates on Cyber in Action TCS: Deep ties with Microsoft & Palo Alto; global SOCs; offers “Security-as-a-Service.” HCLTech: CyberSecurity Fusion Centers across India, US & Europe; growing >20% YoY. Wipro: Global Cyber Defense Centers; zero-trust security; among top 3 global MSSPs. LTIMindtree: Embeds security in every cloud & digital deal; strong BFSI focus. Persistent & Coforge: Integrate cybersecurity into engineering & BFSI projects; fastest-growing verticals. 💡 Why It’s the Next Big Growth Engine Every digital deal needs security because Cloud + AI will have new attack surfaces. Global data laws tightening which will lead to recurring compliance revenue. High-margin, sticky business — once outsourced, clients rarely switch. Talent moat — deep security expertise = long-term advantage. 🧠 Things to Track When evaluating IT firms: ✅ % of revenue from security services ✅ No. of Security Operation Centers (SOCs) ✅ Certifications (ISO, NIST, GDPR) ✅ Key partnerships (Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, Microsoft, AWS) ✅ Cybersecurity headcount growth The deeper cybersecurity is woven into every project, the stronger the valuation premium investors reward. 💼 #Finance #Investing #WealthManagement #FinancialLiteracy #FinTech #StockMarket #PassiveIncome #IndiaFinance #100daychallenge #cybersecurity

Grateful to BCIC Karnataka Bühler Group for the opportunity to speak and learn at today’s MSME security forum. The leaders who joined from across Bangalore reinforced a powerful truth: cybersecurity isn’t a cost for MSMEs — it’s a system that quietly supports every business outcome. In my talk, we explored practical ways small businesses can build digital trust without complexity — simple controls, clear accountability, and mindful use of #AI. The DPDP-focused panel opened even deeper insights: the misconceptions slowing adoption, how automation can simplify compliance, and how MSMEs can prove resilience to large enterprises in their supply chain. What stood out most was the shared willingness to shift the narrative from “security as overhead” to security as an enabler of trust, growth, and AI-readiness. Thank you to BCIC and all the leaders whose thoughtful questions made this a mutual learning experience. Looking forward to continuing this systemic conversation.
