The biggest jump in security posture often comes from a simple concept: don’t let a breach travel. In county, city, and school environments, segmentation has stopped minor incidents from becoming major outages. Lesson learned: firewalls protect the door — segmentation protects the interior. Who else is focusing heavily on lateral-movement defense in 2025?
