The Virginia Department of Corrections (VADOC) is mourning the line of duty death of Corrections Officer Jeremy Lewis Hall (40) following an attack by an inmate Monday morning at River North Correctional Center in Independence. In the days to come, the thoughts and prayers of the Chesterfield County Sheriff's Office staff will remain with his friends, family, and fellow officers.
