🌱 Teamwork in action at LSCI (Hu's lab at EPFL) ! A huge thank you to Miyeon Chang, the PhD who guided us through the process—your support was invaluable! 🙏 Our mission: regenerate the adsorbents that stayed in our module all summer. Normally, regeneration in the lab is done on a gram scale, but we were working with 10 kg. So, we placed our zeolites in a huge beaker and hoped for the best! Another challenge: once back in their plastic container, the adsorbents could reabsorb moisture, so they need to be used quickly. Upon arrival, Miyeon immediately put our adsorbents in the oven and kindly took care of them throughout the week—so thoughtful! ❤️ Afterward, we had an amazing tour of her lab: a presentation on fuel cells and CO₂ reduction; a tour of the lab setup, analysis machines, and CO₂ reduction systems; and insights into various ion exchange membranes, including a spray-coating machine that ensures precision It was an inspiring day of learning, teamwork, and science. Big thanks to Yunhee for capturing all the moments in photos, and shoutout to Anders, Loris and Ysée for being part of the adventure. Excited to see how these regenerated adsorbents will perform! 🌍💚 #CarbonTeam #CO2Reduction #FuelCells #Sustainability #Teamwork #Innovation #EPFL #LFIM #MOFs #Chemistry #CarbonCapture #Research
