A Glimpse Into the Future of Hiring Recently, I had my first experience being interviewed by an AI-powered system and it was eye-opening. At first, I was a bit skeptical. How could a machine truly understand my skills, experiences, or fit for a role? But as the interview progressed, I realized a few things: the AI was efficient, precise, and impartial, evaluating my responses based on keywords and structure. This approach significantly accelerated a process that traditionally takes much longer. What stood out to me most was that despite AI’s strengths in efficiency and bias reduction, it still cannot capture the human nuances such as passion, intuition, and cultural fit. These elements remain essential and require a human touch. This experience reaffirmed my belief as a Talent Acquisition professional that technology and empathy must go hand in hand. While AI can enhance screening and improve hiring efficiency, the core of recruitment will always be human connection. Ultimately, AI should serve to augment not replace human recruiters. The future of hiring lies in a collaborative partnership between technology and people. #AIinRecruitment #FutureOfWork #RecruitmentInnovation #WorkplaceTechnology #HiringTrends

Is outdated hiring quietly repelling the best talent from your company? Traditional hiring methods move at a snail's pace. This ultimately costs businesses their most valuable asset – top-tier talent. I've observed a stark pattern: Companies clinging to manual screening and subjective assessments consistently lose candidates. The lag time alone is a major turnoff. Think about it. When a promising candidate doesn't receive a timely response, they move on. The solution? AI-powered recruitment. * AI automates tedious tasks: screening resumes and scheduling interviews. * The results speak for themselves: faster hiring cycles and a bigger talent pool. * AI prioritizes skills and experience, reducing bias. AI isn't the future. It's the now. Companies using AI see better matches, faster hiring, and improved diversity. I've helped many companies shift from reactive to proactive hiring. They're now building stronger talent pipelines. They were able to predict workforce gaps before they even existed. Does your current hiring process attract or repel? #AI #Hiring #Recruiting #Innovation #Tech

🚨 AI in Recruitment: Are We Losing the Human Touch? There’s a lot of noise right now about how AI is “revolutionising” hiring. Faster screening. Smarter matching. Automated everything. But here’s the reality I’m seeing on the ground: ❌ Junior talent is being overlooked because AI doesn’t “see potential” — it sees keywords. ❌ Candidates are ghosted because bots don’t feel the need to follow up. ❌ Hiring decisions are being made based on algorithms, not conversations. As a recruiter who talks to real people every day, I’m worried we’re trading empathy for efficiency. Recruitment isn’t just about filling roles — it’s about understanding people, their stories, their growth, their grit. Yes, AI has its place. But when it starts replacing human judgment, we risk building teams that look good on paper but lack depth, diversity, and drive. 👉 So here’s my challenge to hiring leaders: Are we using AI to enhance recruitment — or to avoid doing the hard, human work? Let’s bring the conversation back to what matters: 👍 Listening to candidates 👍 Spotting potential beyond CVs 👍 Building inclusive, resilient teams Would love to hear from others in the industry. Are we heading in the right direction — or do we need to course-correct? #RecruitmentReality #HumanFirstHiring #TechTalent #AIinHiring #UKTech #FutureOfWork Reed - Technology #lovemondays #reedtechnology

Talent Thoughts on a Tuesday!! Lately while working on an amazing Customer Care Advisor role and reviewing applications, something hit me. In a time where AI seems to be everywhere, reshaping how we work, hire, and even communicate, it hit me that some roles still can’t be AI-replaced. Customer care, for example — that human touch, that empathy, that small spark in a conversation that makes someone feel heard — AI hasn’t quite mastered that yet. But while AI hasn’t taken over the “care” part, it’s certainly transforming how we find and attract talent in the manufacturing world. In the UK, manufacturers are now using AI tools to analyse skills gaps, predict workforce shortages, and even fast-track hiring by automating early-stage screening. The Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) recently partnered with Siemens UK to pilot AI-driven recruitment tools that identify the most adaptable candidates for advanced production roles. And according to a Make UK report from late 2024, over 60% of manufacturers are already investing in AI-led talent analytics to futureproof their workforce. It’s interesting the balance between people and technology. AI can speed things up, but it can’t yet replicate intuition, connection, or curiosity. That’s where the magic still lies. So, this Tuesday, my thought is simple: Let’s embrace the tech but never forget that people power still runs the show. #recruitmentrends #ai #future #hiringinmanufacturing #talentacquisition #futureofwork #ukrecruitment #recruitersoflinkedIn

Lately, we are seeing how AI is continuously reshaping the workplace around us and I have been thinking of it's potential to transform traditional people intensive processes... Talent Acquisition in particular. AI-driven recruiting is enabling 2 to 3 times faster hiring and far better candidate experience. Being someone who has lived through various phases of recruitment from manual resume hunts to algorithm driven talent matching, I can truly see how this shift is changing our day-to-day reality. For me, it’s not just about speed. It’s about smarter decisions, fairer hiring, and making every candidate interaction meaningful. As TA leaders, it’s time we move from manual to data-driven precision, treat candidate experience as a competitive advantage and position TA as a true business-growth partner. Artificial Intelligence is not about replacing people with technology, it is about empowering people through technology. The future of TA belongs to those who adapt it now..! #TalentAcquisition #AIinRecruiting #FutureOfWork #PeopleStrategy #HRTransformation
