Another couple of $Bn of BP Profit to add to the $50Bn or so RCOP Profit reported by BP since the BP Pensioner's started to ask 'what about us'? Where has all of this money gone? We've read a lot about BP Share Buy Backs, BP Shareholder Dividend Increases and BP Executive Share Bonuses but there's still no consideration whatsoever for the BP Pensioners. Let's add a little reminder of what they've got to complain about:- · BP refused a BP Pension Trustee request for a BP Pension discretionary cost-of-living increase of 4% in 2023. · BP, again, decided to refuse a BP Pension Trustee request for a BP Pension discretionary cost-of-living increase of 2% in 2024. · BP Pensioners remain stunned by the refusal of BP to approve any discretionary cost-of-living increases in 3 consecutive years of high inflation. · BP Pensioners are due arrears of 11%, which is the total 2021/2022/2023 loss in purchasing power of their BP Pension versus RPI Inflation! #bpPensions
Excellent, can bp now afford to honour the promised cost of living rise for UK pensioners?
Just a shame you won’t deal with your pensioners issue!
Virtue signalling that it's doing well but any company withholding a $5 BILLION Pension Fund SURPLUS while their pensioners suffer severe price inflation is absolutely sociopathic ... #bppensions
Nice performance, now BP can afford to pay what is due to, BP PENSIONERS
Meanwhile in the UK bp continues to reject cost-of-living pension increases for 60,000 former employees. Find out more about the bp Pensions Campaign here: bppensionergroup.org #BPPensions #ageism
Other highlights include mistreating over 58,000 bp pensioners and ignoring your own code of conduct. Something else to be proud of.
