The Australian Psychological Society has advised more than four in 10 Australian teens now suffer mental health distress, with experts drawing a link in a rise in cases with the use of social media i.e. https://psychology.org.au/about-us/news-and-media/aps-in-the-media/2024/australian-teens-trapped-by-social-media-apps-as-t - Since the rise of social media, there have been numerous cases of individuals being influenced towards committing suicide or self-harm through their use of social media - As a father to a 5 yr old boy - Enough is Enough, our children are the most precious thing to us ever.. Thanks for all the amazing work Beyond Blue continue to do to help children and families. Pls, don't just restrict & ban all social media that impacts anxiety but get rid of it now and the toxicity that engulfs it, before it's too late. Thank you Georgie Harman AO
