It was a beautiful day on Monday as Berkeley County leaders and administration celebrated the groundbreaking for the new North Berkeley Public Safety Campus in Bonneau! This new 16,800-square-foot facility will become home to the North Berkeley Fire District, as well as new substations for the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office and EMS. The campus will also function as a backup 911 center and include a helicopter pad and boats to support emergency responses on Lake Moultrie and the Santee River. With an investment of approximately $5.8 million, this project marks an important step forward in improving safety and service for Berkeley County residents. #OneBerkeley #BerkeleyCountySC
