Two weeks on and we’re still thinking about those delicious Whipped Cookie Swirls from Cobb Lane Bakery!
To support our Whipped Cloud Café, we surveyed young Aussies aged 18-44 and found that they are embracing ‘feel-good’ experiences and chasing joy across every corner of culture.
90% also told us that preparing or enjoying food brings comfort and creativity to their day, with peanut butter one of the nation’s most nostalgic, feel-good staples.
Shout out to Vibrant Insights who conducted the fun research for us and here’s a snapshot of how we brought this to life at Fed Square. 🎥
Australians love snacking and we wanted to make a truly snackable peanut butter that removed any frustrations around stickiness or being difficult to spread. And we think we've absolutely nailed it with whipped bigger peanut butter. It's the same delicious taste that we all know and love from bigger peanut butter, but a lighter area, almost mousse like texture. It is absolutely the only whipped peanut butter right here in Australia. I think Australians, young and old all grew up with it and we all love it. But Melburnians? Love their pastries and we've got a real cafe culture here. And with whipped peanut butter produced just down the road in Port Melbourne, we thought what better way to bring this new launch to life than collaborating with Kobland Bakery. We've created an amazing menu with Cobb Lane. It's so hard to choose from, but if I had to pick one favorite it would be the Cookie Swirl. Melbourne really comes to light in September. You've got footy finals, you've got the blossoms out, it's the last day of the school term and what better way to kick off? The school holidays, then coming down into Melbourne city and experiencing the amazing bigger Peanut Butter Whipped Cloud Cafe. Peanut butters and nostalgic product, I think it's across most Aussie households, in every pantry across the nation. And what's so great about it is that peanut butter enables everyone to be that little bit creative, have a little bit of fun and playfulness in their food. And it's so versatile and even people just love eating it straight out of the jar. Our research that we recently conducted by a Vibrant Insights actually told us just how much Aussies really love peanut butter. And I think it's a product, it's so versatile and it really taps into those. Means of seeking comfort and joy in our everyday lives.
