Mission accomplished ✅ In 2019, we partnered with the FA to transform girls’ football in England, setting a goal for 90% of schools to offer girls the same access to football in PE as boys by 2028. We’ve smashed that goal three years early. ✅ Over 20,000 schools (90%) now offer equal access to football in PE ✅ 2.6 million girls now have the opportunity to play Football is more than just a game. It creates the foundations for resilience, confidence and leadership skills. That's why we’re championing equal access through the Barclays Girls’ Football in Schools network, to help girls unlock their potential both on the field and in life.
Over 20,000 schools providing equal opportunities is inspiring. Sports can be such a powerful tool for building life skills beyond the field.
Insightful
Inspiring impact! Equal access to sports is not just about physical activity—it’s about empowering the next generation of leaders and building confidence on and off the field.
Amazing work Barclays, as usual 💙
