We recently joined industry peers at the Atlantic Exchange Roundtable to explore how collaboration can accelerate innovation in the maritime sector. As lead partner in both the Belfast Maritime Consortium and Northern Ireland Maritime & Offshore, we were delighted to share our expertise on building partnerships and driving sustainable growth. Our work within the Belfast Maritime Consortium, including the development of the Artemis EF-24 Passenger ferry, provided a useful example of how collaborative projects can tackle shared industry challenges while strengthening connections within maritime. Thank you to Invest Northern Ireland – Americas and Invest Nova Scotia for hosting the event and providing a platform for this important dialogue. #maritime #innovation The PIER | Le CIPER

↳ Proud to represent our region at the Caribbean Shipping Association’s 55th Annual General Meeting, Conference & Exhibition in Paramaribo, Suriname. I’ll be joining Sabine BAJAZET, Krista Lucenti, and @Max Mella in the session: “Implementing Port Community Systems (PCS) in the Caribbean: Roadmap for Governance, Legislation, Investment, and Capacity Building.” This conversation goes far beyond technology; it’s about transforming how our ports communicate, collaborate, and operate, and shaping a smarter, more connected, and sustainable maritime future for the Caribbean. Let’s be clear: the road to implementing PCS is not an easy one. ⚓ Fragmented governance. ⚖️ Uneven legislation across territories. 💰 Limited investment. 🧭 A pressing need for capacity building. Yet, the Caribbean has everything it takes to overcome these challenges with shared vision, digital leadership, and collective action. ↳ What do you see as the biggest opportunity or challenge for advancing digital transformation across our regional ports? Together, we can build smarter, more resilient ports and set a new benchmark for collaboration and innovation in the maritime industry. #CSA55 #CaribbeanShipping #PortCommunitySystems #PCS #Digitalisation #SmartPorts #MaritimeInnovation #TradeFacilitation #RegionalIntegration #SustainableShipping #Leadership #MaritimeFuture #Collaboration #Innovation

🎥 Baltic Corridor Pilot in Action! Proud to share a glimpse of Europe’s first real-time cross-border eFTI control—tested near the Estonia–Latvia border as part of the eFTI4EU Project Baltic Transport Corridor pilot. Together with dots. (WeAreDots, SIA) and Road Traffic Safety Directorate (CSDD), we connected live freight data from platforms to authorities using the full eFTI stack: no paper, no delays. This is a big step toward smarter, faster, and greener logistics across the EU. Watch how it worked in practice. 😊 #DigitalLogistics #eFTI #BalticCorridorPilot #Innovation #CrossBorder #FutureOfTransport #Pikker #Ybil https://lnkd.in/dBYuaaDh

This week I represented International Association of Port Development - IAPORTS in a strategic agenda to foster port development in the province of Québec, at the invitation of Investissement Québec . The program included technical visits to three ports in the region — Montreal, Québec, and Trois-Rivières — as well as meetings with FedNav, Ocean Group, and Canada Railway, exploring port expansion and logistics integration projects that strengthen the sector across the Americas. Our members — Portos do Paraná , APIQROO , and @Nodal.io — also participated in key moments that added value to their operations and expanded international exchange between ports. The week reinforced IAPORTS’ role as a global platform connecting leaders and institutions committed to the future of the port sector.
