International Week of Science and Peace At Syngenta, science is a commitment to building a more sustainable and resilient future. As agriculture faces growing challenges, digital innovation is key to unlocking solutions that benefit both people and the planet. Through platforms like Cropwise™ and advancements in digital trait technologies, we try to tranform how we understand and manage crops. By integrating data, AI, and phenomics, we’re enabling smarter decisions, faster breeding cycles, and more adaptive farming systems. This week, we celebrate the role of science in promoting peace—through innovation, food security, environmental stewardship, and global collaboration.
Today marks a significant milestone as we open our AI-powered Cropwise platform to developers worldwide. This initiative addresses the growing technology gap between large and small farms, revealed by our recent Ipsos research (link to the full research report in the comments 👇). Currently supporting over 70 million hectares across 30+ countries, Cropwise will now enable third-party developers to integrate advanced agronomic models into new applications. Our vision is to make digital agriculture more accessible and inclusive for all farmers, regardless of farm size. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/dsTHRcFT #AgTech #DigitalAgriculture #Innovation
