In the boardroom, the days of checking a “diversity” box are over. In a world of disruption, diversity isn’t about compliance - it’s a strategic edge, even on boards. But here’s the catch… Too many capable women still face barriers to the boardroom. And that’s not just a representation issue - It’s a performance one. Last month, Amrop's Cecilia Callmer & Magda Clipaciuc partnered with European Women on Boards (EWOB) to ask the question: How can boards amplify their strategic impact through inclusion, behavior, and purposeful leadership? Here’s what emerged: https://lnkd.in/dPaAD_QB

As part of our ongoing series highlighting women in Supply Chain leadership, Caroline Crotty sat down with Petra Smith for this fantastic and insightful discussion. This is a great read, sharing actionable insights and highlights once again how important ensuring diversity across our teams is, a comment that stuck with me: "We also know that organisations with ≥30% women in leadership are 12x more likely to be in the top 20% for financial performance and yet companies are still resistant to addressing this gap." She's shared some great thoughts and excellent advice for those in/looking to enter the world of supply chain. Well worth a read ! #supplychainrecruitment #inclusivesupplychain #inclusiverecruitment #diversityandinclusion

𝗔 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 🏆 Seed World celebrates 30 high-impact women in the U.S. seed industry. Among them is Geeta Sanjeev, our Global Director of Quality Control. Congratulations to her! But why is this important? 🧐 These women are "rewriting the narrative in the seed industry," as Seed World United States puts it. Their recognition may inspire younger women to engage in the seed industry. Women who succeed can be powerful role models. At HM.CLAUSE, we encourage women’s leadership. Geeta started as a seed pathology lab manager, then became our Director of Quality Control for the AMPA region and is now the Global Director of Quality Control 👏 Plus, did you know our CEO is… a woman too, Eugenia Rigaud ? They matter: they remind us that women are capable. And that if we generally see fewer women in positions of responsibility, that is not because they are not able to take them on. Entrusting women with skilled roles can be a game changer. And never forget, as Geeta said: “People grow together - they learn from each other every day!“ #Agriculture #Women #USA #HMCLAUSE
In our latest Seed World US issue, we celebrate a remarkable group of leaders as High-Impact Women in U.S. Seed. These women are redefining leadership in the industry, demonstrating that grit, skill, and collaboration drive excellence across roles from labs to boardrooms and seed physiology to supply chains. This morning’s roundtable on Women on Boards was a powerful reminder that preparation and intentionality are key to making real impact. A few insights that stood out: • Be ready with your pitch, know what you bring to the table. • Identify the board’s needs, alignment matters. • Choose wisely where you want to sit! and vet the boards as much as they vet you. • Once in, take the time for proper onboarding, ask the right questions and get the full picture. Thank you to everyone who shared experiences so openly and to Katy Holmes for an inspiring and practical discussion on turning ambition into action.
