The Future of Intelligence Is Open The real advantage today isn’t secrecy—it’s pattern recognition. In a world of open data and constant signals, the most capable organizations are those that can see the invisible threads—the patterns forming before they become visible to everyone else. As Foreign Policy notes, intelligence—whether national or corporate—is no longer about what’s hidden, but about how fast you can connect what’s already in the open. That’s the new frontier of decision intelligence. https://lnkd.in/enQjgnfx

Top AI companies are racing to build ASI, artificial superintelligence, despite its profound risks. Top AI experts, scientists, leaders, and creatives are calling to prohibit the reckless development of superintelligence. Until - and if - we can make it safe, the risks are too great - and most of the public agree. The Future of Life Institute has released a powerful new statement on superintelligent AI regulation, which has been signed by a wide array of specialists of different fields. The worries are echoed by the masses: 73 % of US citizens want robust regulation on advanced AI. Consider signing the letter yourself as well.

Threat intelligence isn’t just about data 📊 It’s about the *people* and *technology* behind it. That’s why our global research team is one of the largest in the industry, multiple times the size of what our competitors operate with. Combined with AI-enhanced tech and visibility into billions of daily signals, we deliver intelligence that’s faster, richer, and actually actionable.

Of course the AI technologies being currently developed are absolutely amazing and have such awesome potential to advance humanity. But before we spend all of our resources on increasing capability of AI systems, let's make sure it is to our benefit. My friend Don used the metaphor of the Sorcerer's apprentice and I think it is a very good comparison. Take a look at the Super Intelligence Statement and sign it, if you'd rather have AI development be aligned with safety and humanity's prosperity at its core.
AI spiraling out of control? My own text below, the topic demands sincerity. As security experts we know that what can go wrong, will go wrong. In most of those cases we shrug, sigh, solve the problem and get on with our lives. In the case of uncontrolled AI development, supercharged by unlimited greed and lust for power, the stakes are rapidly getting way too high. Several top experts have been warning for this for years now - without going rich: there are still those who actually care. 99% of all AI related effort is going into frantic development - next to nothing into safety. That's a sure recipe for disaster, especially with the advanced stage that AI instances have been reaching recently. You all know the warnings. They are sane. Those ignoring them -- are insane. It's the old story of the Sorcerer's Apprentice. Only this time no one expects the Sorcerer to come to rescue. It's up to you - it's up to us. A group of top experts including Geoff Hinton, who I value greatly, and other leading scientists and people from all over society, from famous folks to Joe and Jane next doors, call to stop this dangerous development before it spirals out of control. Not to kill progress - but to think first, and act second. And to discuss in society. Not things we humans excel at: this is admittedly a difficult task. Yet one we MUST undertake. I invite you to co-sign the Superintelligence Statement at the link below. 🔗👇
