Dan L., founder of Red Cup IT, wants his AI agents to do more than observe – he wants them to take action in customer environments, resolving problems automatically without disruption. That requires a way to trust every connection and control what each agent can do.
In this short success story 📹 👇, Le shares how his California-based MSP uses Aembit to secure agentic AI in practice, giving each agent a clear identity, measurable access, and the accountability needed to operate safely at scale.

Life with Ambit is a lot easier, we're more secure and we have less manual work. Red carpet is a very automation, security and compliance focused M. We do a lot more than just the regular lights on it that many companies provide. I'm seeing a lot of need for agentic AI at our customers. By leveraging AI agents, we can actually start to solve the problem faster and even letting some of these agents loose into lower tier environments where we can have it remediate problems without user impact, without downtime. If we're going to have an agent go into a customer environment, we want to make sure that it's a highly secured a agent from every angle possible. You want to host it in a very secure cloud environment. Make sure that that token is easily revoked, that all of its actions can be tracked. Logged, reported on, and if something goes wrong, we can immediately kill off that API trust and immediately stop it from doing anything further. Thankfully we can see here all of those AI workloads with Ambit. I would describe Ambit as workload IAM for Agenta I you have one control plane where you can control thousands of a agents and cut off access whenever you need to and better than that you can also bake in short lived credentials where they automatically expire as well. One thing about ambit that I really like are the integrations with other third party security tools that we already use that are best in class and our environment such as beyond identity or crowd strike where we can pull in metrics and data points and. Attributes from these other environments that let us control how Ambit works and how secrets are handled based on other outside attributes. So we're able to recreate conditional access that we already do today using other systems like entry ID or Octa within Ambit and by allowing us to create these parallel systems we can extend. The trust and access and identity management to agents and AI native workloads such as MCP servers on Lambda functions on the cloud or desktops as well. And but would be incredibly useful for securing A genetic AI within Ides such as Cursor, Devin, GitHub Copilot. You'd want to make sure that whoever is allowing that AI agent to act on our behalf is being tracked. And we're tying that back to a human that's requesting that a agent to work on our behalf. And it's been a great partner. They're super responsive. Easy to work with, really collaborative. That's really rare and hard to find. Ambit brings the table, both the product and the team that has been there done that. In terms of NI security, definitely happier with Ambit. I would definitely recommend him to my peers.
