"These are the moments that inspire future scientists, that make abstract concepts concrete, that transform passive learning into active discovery." 💗 Fourth graders in Ann Arbor Public Schools expanded their understanding of what it means to have a “great heart” in character, compassion and courage by learning about the biological heart. It is so powerful to see the ways in which schools are fanning the sparks lit within Great Minds Arts & Letters curriculum, fueling inquiry, broadening student knowledge, and igniting curiosity. What a win for our collective future, as these scholars carry with them a deeper understanding of what makes a great heart—both the muscle and the metaphor. https://lnkd.in/eim_qkaJ
