Today, we’re launching eBay’s Global 2025 Recommerce Report and the findings make one thing clear: recommerce has officially gone mainstream. ♻️ ➡️ Nearly 9 in 10 consumers plan to maintain or increase their spending on second-hand goods in 2025. ➡️ Younger generations are driving this trend, with 59% of Gen Z and 56% of Millennials expecting to buy more pre-loved items in the coming year. ➡️ 68% of eBay buyers say they feel good about giving products a second life and 63% of eBay sellers share that same sentiment. This momentum reflects more than changing shopping habits; it signals a deeper cultural shift toward mindful consumption and financial empowerment. It’s a shift that was front and center today in Brussels at Second-Hand, First Priority, where I had the privilege of joining leaders and policymakers to advance the conversation on sustainable commerce. Whether you’re a shopper, a seller, a policymaker, or a brand, let’s work together to actively shape a more sustainable future. 🌍 Explore the full report and see how how you can be part of the movement: https://lnkd.in/ebHpskf3 #Recommerce #CircularEconomy #Sustainability #eBay
What an honor to have you over in Brussels, Renee Morin! Recommerce is so close to all of our hearts 💚 https://ebaycreatingopportunityforall.eu/
Renee Morin This is such an important shift in mindset around ownership, responsibility, and mindful decision-making!
Good evening. Is eBay currently hiring for remote positions? Thank you for your time and consideration.
eBay permanently banned my seller account, withheld funds from 10 successful sales totaling over $1,700 (all fully delivered with confirmed FedEx tracking), and failed to return my Rolex watch. The watch was authenticated twice by their own authenticator, yet it is still being held and has not been returned. Despite repeated calls and emails — including direct communication with executives — no one has taken action to investigate or resolve my case. I have recorded calls and email evidence showing how eBay unlawfully terminated over $400,000 worth of listings, seized my sales profits, and blocked my last Rolex sale worth more than $3,000. Their support team continues to dismiss my case, stating they “cannot help” because my account is banned. We have now formed a group of more than 35,000 affected buyers and sellers, and we are preparing collective legal action. My public store name on eBay was HorologyPartsCom. See this Case (screenshot) against your eBay. None of you have shown the professionalism required to follow up on these matters or to recognize how your support team’s actions have harmed thousands of sellers, including myself. This constitutes an illegal business practice. Ps:will never stop till you look at my account.
I would like to discuss the possibility of starting an eBay business together. Please let me know if you’re interested.
Together, we have a real opportunity to shape a future where circularity is the norm and sustainable commerce is accessible to all. Let’s keep driving this movement forward. ♻️🌍
