As a physician, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside patients whose health journeys are shaped by both uncertainty and hope. PGx testing gives us insight into how an individual’s genes influence their response to medications. For veterans living with PTSD, chronic pain, depression, or other health challenges, this can mean fewer setbacks and a quicker path to feeling better. Hereditary cancer testing is equally powerful, identifying risk before symptoms appear and opening the door to earlier, proactive care.
