Today I would like to talk about the Newborn Care Week which is celebrated being celebrated from 15th of November to 21st of November. As most of us, we are aware that new little period is the most critical period in childhood. It and it has the highest rate of morbidity and mortality. The aim of celebrating this week is to highlight the importance of childhood care for oral childhood health and well-being and survival. This year's theme of newborn Care week is a newborn safety where the every touch, every time, every baby. It highlights the importance and urgent need to prioritize patient safety or during neonatal care. It also emphasizes on preventing infection. Medication error and unsafe care practices which is import paramount important to provide safe, caring nurturing environment for the neonatal care or newborn babies with newborn care. It also there is an important role of kangaroo mother care where every baby should receive kangaroo mother care those baby who are born premature and low birth weight. It can be practice in resource limited setting even at home provided the. Parents and caregiver are well equipped and educated about the Kangaroo Mothercare. This is one of the most most effective or care provided which has a very good outcome with respect to the benefits stemming from preventing hypothermia by asking to skin contact. Also, encouraging exclusive breastfeeding throughout the care also helps prevent infection. Also, it is it has the potential to improve our good neurodevelopment outcome. In the babies, parents should be aware of providing the continuous skin to skin care to the babies. Second, they should be care. They should be also encouraged to give an exclusive breastfeeding throughout the newborn care and they should also emphasize on the giving a comfortable and safe environment to the baby's ensuring the positioning of the baby.
