Advanced polygrouping tips

- ZBrush makes it easy to assign polygroups to various mesh faces. But when it does, it's usually with a new, random color. What if you want to force faces to use an already-existing polygroup color? You can do that. Let's look at that feature, along with a few other advanced tricks. Okay, so we've got Hank open here, and I just want to work on the body, so let's turn on solo mode to hide everything else. Let's also hit shift F to turn on our polyframes. You can see, everything is one solid polygroup right now. So let's kind of make a project out of this and break Hank up into different polygroups so that we can control him more easily. Let's go into the Zmodeler brush for this. Hit B, Z, M on the keyboard for the shortcut for that. And I'm going to zoom in on his mouth. So go into polygrouping mode for the Zmodeler brush by hovering over a polygon, holding down space bar and going to polygroup mode. Let's start with single poly mode just to get the hang of it.
