- [Instructor] WP Engine hosting accounts allow you to set up staging environments using their built-in tools. If you already use WP Engine to host your site, this is a great option. You'll start in the WP Engine dashboard. You'll need to create your production site and staging site from this dashboard. Choose Add site, choose Start with blank site, then, choose Production site, and name it. Now, do the same thing over again, but select Staging site this time. It may take a few moments for your environments to finish being built. When they're complete, you'll get an email with the URL, admin login, and username. Go to the site page in your WP Engine dashboard, and you'll see both sites listed. Select your staging site's name, then choose WP Admin. Begin building out your site from here.
