Group Policy
- [Instructor] Group policy is a way to create settings for users and computers that limit or allow additional capabilities as the administrator requires them to have. From a Domain Controller and Server Manager, I go to tools and then group policy management. And this will allow me to either edit or create group policy objects and apply them to either the domain itself at the top level or specific organizational units that you see here. I'm going to apply a brand new group policy. You already see there's a default domain policy as well as a Domain Controller's policy. But I like to create new policies that are named specifically for what the policy does and that way you don't have to hunt down where that setting is. So I'm going to right click and choose to create a group policy object in this domain and link it here. I'm calling this group policy object, hide recycle bin because I'm going to create this policy to hide…
