- [Instructor] Another feature we can find in HyperV is something called live migration. Live migration gives you the ability to move an entire virtual machine from one HyperV host to another HyperV host. And just as it would imply from the name, live migration, it can do it while the machine is live, or while it is running. So to demonstrate this, I'm here in the HyperV manager, I have my virtual machine called Demo VM, and it is running. But we need to have another host, right? We need to have another host to be able to move it to. Well don't worry, I've created one. I installed another computer here with Windows serve 2019 and I installed the HyperV role onto that machine, and indeed I've also created a folder structure of the HyperV folder in the virtual hard disk folder to match this particular server.
