From the course: What to Post on LinkedIn to Stand Out

Build community through intentional engagement

- By now you know what great content on LinkedIn looks like. You've learned some proven posting strategies and the building blocks to create engaging posts for yourself. Now, how do we string that all together to grow a community that helps you reach those goals that you set back at the beginning of the course? Number one is start by engaging with that community that you wanna build. The comment section is a really great place to do that. First, reply to comments on your own posts to keep that conversation going. And focus on leaving really thoughtful responses too, versus just a thanks or an emoji that really ends the conversation right there. Next, leave comments on other members' posts. You could add your perspective to their ideas or engage their community in discussion. Leaving comments takes a little bit less time than crafting an original post, and it still helps you make new connections, and drives traffic back to your profile, which is great. Ultimately, don't think about your LinkedIn content as a broadcast channel. Think about it as a place that you can connect and engage and build real professional relationships through content.
