- [Rick] In this video, I'll demonstrate how to create an NFS datastore in my vSphere Home Lab environment. And before we get started, I just want to mention that shortly after the three minute mark of this video, you'll see a demonstration of how to create an NFS server in Windows Server 2016. So if you don't have an NFS system to play around with, go ahead and watch this whole video and I'll show you how to create one using Windows Server 2016. And as you can see here, I'm at the home screen of the vSphere client, and I'm just going to browse to shortcuts. And so I want to create a new datastore. So I'm going to start by just going to storage here. And you can see the datastores that currently exist in my training virtual data center.
