- [Rick] In this video, I'll demonstrate how to create a new VMFS datastore. So here I am back in my vSphere Client, I'm going to go to hosts and clusters. And in the last video, I had this new host and I connected it to my iSCSI storage array. And so let's go to the storage area and let's go to my training data center. And you can see I've already got a few datastores that are created here. I'm going to right-click my Training Data Center. I'm going to go to Storage. I'm going to select New Datastore, and I'm going to choose VMFS as the type of datastore. And so hopefully I have a LUN available that I can utilize to create this VMFS datastore. And so I'm just going to create a datastore called iSCSI-DS1 and then I need to choose a host here. And so I'm going to continue to work with that new host that I just created. And as you can see here, there are LUNs available on this host, but the only LUN that's available is…
