Paper prototyping for simple explorations

- [Instructor] Creating paper prototypes should be a simple process and focused on understanding high level attributes of the design. Like layouts, light interactions and flows. Paper prototypes needs someone to facilitate the conversation because it takes a little bit of a imagination from the user. A facilitator will be able to offer context by providing scenarios for them to think about and help guide the user if they get stuck, or to get the user to speak more about their thoughts on the design. Paper prototyping is pretty easy to do. You don't have to worry about whether or not you can draw, and the fidelity just needs to be clear enough to get your point across. Just squares, rectangles, lines, and words. All you really need is a black marker, paper and some sticky notes. For testing mobile paper prototypes, it's nice to have a cutout of a mobile frame to simulate the limited view of items in the viewport. The rest of the prototype can be drawn on paper.
