- A remote training that lacks hierarchy is like a blender without a lid. It can cause real problems. In this lesson, I'll share hierarchy techniques to organize both visual and text content that will help guide your learners through a remote training in the order you intended. Having numerous solutions will help you feel more confident as you begin to arrange content for maximum hierarchy. Following this process will help you to overcome any fear applying hierarchy can present. First, you will need to establish which elements are most important. I recommend making a short list of the elements on your page and rank them in order of importance. Next, place them into three groups, most important, somewhat important, and least important. This will become your hierarchy. The elements in the most important group will have the most emphasis applied, then the somewhat group, and finally, the least important group.
