Selecting objects

- [Instructor] Now let's start working with objects in Unreal Engine. We're going to start off with select. Now, your select tool is at the top of the viewport here. You can see it here. The hotkey for that is the letter Q. We also have select and translate, select and rotate, and select and scale. And notice the hotkeys of this. We have Q for select objects, W, E, and R, and those are actually the top left-hand letters on your keyboard, Q, W, E, and R. So if you just keep your hand up there, you can switch between these pretty easily. Now, we're just going to use select right now, but as we get into moving objects around, these hotkeys will come in very handy. So let's select the select tool. So I'm going to go ahead and do that or hit Q. And then just left click on an object to select. Now, notice how it's also selected here in the outliner.
