- We're now a couple of years into generative AI. A couple of years since tools like Stable Diffusion, Midjourney and DALL-E made it possible to create realistic images from nothing but a text description. These are important tools, and I've even made an entire course here in the library on how to use Stable Diffusion. It's a fun tool, and using it can help your photography, so I definitely recommend taking a look at that course. You do not need to know how to use generative AI tools to be a photographer, but now Photoshop and perhaps the image editing tool on your phone offer the ability to add elements to an image using generative AI, making this technology easily accessible to pretty much everyone. Over the last couple of episodes, we've talked about how to determine when you should make an edit, how to tell when an edit has gone too far, and we've considered whether there's a moral question involved in some edits.
