(light music) - [Instructor] In telecom network, there are so many nodes that are present right from the base station towards the core network, but how they are all connected to one another? And that's where the transport network comes into picture. It is via which the information flows from one node to another. It could be of different types, it could be a wireless, it could be WLAN communication. Let's simulate and understand with one example where a user is trying to connect to the base station, how the information will then taken further from the base station, maybe to another base station via some wireless connectivity, which is microwave link, which is a wireless point-to-point connection. There could be another different kind of connectivity, which could be a physical wide connection, which is fiber in this case. And this fiber may be connecting the hub locations to the data center.
