In release 15 there's a introduction of 5G technology and there was a core network which is completely evolved. So Core network here also has the similar functionalities as compared to the legacy technologies, but with some kind of advancement, which we are going to talk about. Its function is to establish a secure connection and authenticate the device. Also help to apply certain policies, and track the movement and mobility of the different users. It also roots the traffic, whether it is to the internet, or it is for the voice communication. It also take care of the charging part, how to charge the customer for particular service and also take care of handling the QoS quality of service in 5G.
