- You most likely have good relationships with your peers and your creative team. It's one of the areas I believe most creatives excel at because collaboration is so central to our success in our jobs. That being said, the usual playful and informal shenanigans that are part of our creative culture can sometimes be misinterpreted in a corporate environment and get us into trouble so I'd like to review some dos and don'ts you may want to adopt when working with your fellow creatives. These include both general collaborative best practices as well as the aforementioned potential HR compliance red flags. Do give credit where credit is due. Acknowledge teammates for jobs well done. Be polite and respectful but honest in providing feedback on missteps your co-workers may unknowingly make when working with you, such as insensitive comments about religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or appearance.
