Object rotation in SketchUp

- [Instructor] Just like many actions in SketchUp, there is more than one way to rotate an object. First, let's talk about the move tool. Click the letter M on your keyboard or this icon here. Now, when I hover over an object, you can see that we can move it, but we can also find these red plus signs or red cross hairs to activate the rotate tool. Click and release on one of those plus signs, and you can see that as I move my cursor, the object rotates. If I move my cursor towards the center of the wheel, it seems jittery. So if I move my cursor wider, swing wide, and I create a smoother movement for that. If you start rotating something that you don't intend to, you can hit Escape to let go of that rotation. Now, if you're not seeing these red plus signs appear when you're moving this, you may need to change the settings. You can go to SketchUp, Settings. Or on a Windows machine, you'll find it under Window, Settings. Then we'll go to Drawing and click Show Move tool rotation grips…
