Creating a list from a SharePoint template
- [Instructor] Why create a list from scratch if there's a template available for the content that you need to manage? Here's how. Start from the SharePoint site homepage, where you want the list to be made available, select new, and then from the dropdown choose list, scroll to the bottom to view all of the templates available. Select the template that you want to build. On the left, it will show a preview of what this template design looks like, as well as details about the template on the right. Select use template, and then modify the name of the list. Choose if you want the list to be in the site navigation, checked means that it will be, and unchecked that it will not. Then select create. Let's close the next steps pane on the right, and here is the list. There are several tabs here, and this particular template also includes a way for you to automate some of the recruitment efforts.
