Create a search variant

- [Instructor] Sometimes we run reports with the same selection criteria over and over again. A handy time saving tool for running these repetitive reports is called a search variant. We'll create one now. To do this, we'll go to VA05, our list of sales orders report. In our scenario, we'll assume that we're running the same report on a weekly basis to see how many orders come from one customer for a specific material. So in our sold to party we'll enter that customer number, 17100001. In the material field, we'll enter FG111_A for the name of our material. We'll scroll down to our organizational data. Our sales organization is already populated so we'll enter our distribution channel. We'll enter 10, and our division, 00. Now we want to run this exact report every week so we'll save this criteria as a variant. To do this, we'll click save as variant. We'll name this variant, we'll call it AO Orders. And in the…
