Data management introduction
- Alright, it's time to talk about data management in Salesforce. As a new Salesforce administrator, this is a piece that can be complicated. We deal with the different tools you can use in order to import data into Salesforce. Such things as the Data Loader or the Import Wizard will be addressed, and we'll show the strengths and weaknesses of each. There will be questions on the exam related to this material. A lot of this has to do with the number of records, the type of records, and so you need to become familiar with what the Data Import Wizard can handle and what the Data Loader can handle and the functionality of both. I'll take you through the process of loading some data into your own Salesforce organization, and I'll demonstrate how the Data Loader and the Data Import wizard work. So let's get into data management in Salesforce.
