- [Narrator] I'll be the first to lie to someone and state that there's no such thing as regular text in Revit. There is a text editor and you're actually going to use it quite a bit. So this video is going to jump through adding text to a model. On our models, let's go open, browse where you're keeping your exercise files. Let's find Revit workflow, text, then click open. Okay, in the project browser, let's scroll down to mechanical HVAC floor plans. Let's go to one demolition. Zoom in on this area over here. Let's add some text. We can either click this little A on the quick access toolbar, or we can go to the annotate tab and click the text here. Now for text 3/32 Arial, let's click edit type. This is where all our text properties are. Some of 'em we've already configured in another video but we're going to go back through and redo it. For the type, I want to rename it.
