- [Instructor] To get started with this course, you should know how to run SQL Server, either as a full installation or in containers. And you should also have a basic understanding of T-SQL. To be able to follow along with all the demos in this course, you will need a server, and while I'm running this on a Windows machine, a Linux or Mac computer will do as well. This server requires a bunch of tools and configurations, SQL Server, a certificate, Ollama, a model, nginx, but no worries. We will talk on how to get that set up in this course. Here's a piece of warning or advice. This course is based on a preview version of SQL Server 2025. Things can and most likely will change. While some features have been around in other flavors of SQL like Azure SQL for a while, making them more stable, others are brand new to the SQL world, so syntax will change.
