Raspberry Pi Zero computers
- These guys are Raspberry Pi Zeroes. So like their bigger cousins, they're a computer, but they're less than half the size of a regular Raspberry Pi. These weren't designed to be used as a desktop replacement. You'll usually find these in people's project builds. A Raspberry Pi Zero is great for controlling display panels. They're fantastic for robots. And they're perfect for embedding in projects and in products. The Raspberry Pi zero is the least expensive Raspberry Pi. It's available both with and without wifi and Bluetooth. It's tiny and it's not as powerful as its bigger cousins. It has a single core 32 bit CPU running at one gigahertz. The Zero only has 512 megs of ram. It uses mini HDMI for display and it uses micro USB for power. There's a micro SD card for the operating system and for storage. And like other models of Rasberry Pi, the Zero is compatible with Raspberry Pi camera modules, but you'll need to solder your own header pins. If that sounds a bit too advanced for you, there is another option. You can buy a Zero W with headers attached instead. This one is the Zero 2 W. It's much faster. It's got a quad core 64 bit arm chip running at one gigahertz. And like its little brother here, it's only got 512 megs of ram, and there's also 2.4 gig wifi.
