- [Narrator] The Raspberry Pi configuration tool lets you change your Raspberry Pi OS settings. To launch the graphical version of the tool, click the Raspberry Pi menu, click preferences, and choose Raspberry Pi configuration. After you make certain changes, the configuration tool may prompt you to restart. The system tab lets you set basic system settings like your password, boot option or your default web browser. Note that you can't change your username here. Changing your username is a little more complicated under Raspberry Pi OS, but it's not impossible, and I'm not going to get into the specifics on this course. However, you can rather easily add another user, see the video "Add users." This is the display tab which lets you configure a number of features related to the display. So there's screen blanking here, which will turn off the monitor after a time. And if you're using a touch screen, you'll find the onscreen keyboard options useful too.
