Launch the Recommended Software tool and filter by Office, then install LibreOffice. When you're done, hit Close. LibreOffice Writer is a word processor that is compatible with Microsoft Word and supports a variety of file formats. It comes with all the features you expect from a modern word processor and could even export as PDF and EPUB, a popular ebook format.
