- In this scenario, I'll introduce you to an organization that has deployed new technology and is having difficulties. After listening to this true scenario, consider what we've discussed in this chapter and determine what you believe was missing from the project that led to deploying this new tech. Here's the scenario. A company sought to increase its production capacity by installing new robotics in five manufacturing facilities. While robotics wasn't new to the company, integrating AI within the robotics' fault detection was forecast to double their throughput without adding new manufacturing lines. It was a significant investment, but company leaders saw this as an outstanding opportunity. So they enthusiastically launched the robotics project in all of their plants.
