Managing cloud and edge configurations
- It's common to require vendor assistance with technology projects. Increasingly, regardless of the type of technology, cloud and edge computing are part of the vendor solution. The cloud refers to technology services accessed over the internet and the software and databases that run on those servers. Edge computing is a distributed model that brings data processing and storage closer to the users who generate and utilize information. Combining edge and cloud solutions accomplishes two things, optimized response time and better security because the transmission of critical data is reduced.
