How to use the Complex category

- Complex modes combine the power of both subtractive and editing modes, resulting in compositions with depth, contrast, and nuanced vibrancy. How these blending modes behave will depend on whether one of the colors is lighter than 50% gray and whether it's on the top or the bottom clip. Let's start with overlay. The overlay blending mode will make both the darks darker and the lights lighter depending on what's in the underlying layer. I like to use it to sharpen otherwise dull scenes.
