- [Instructor] Applying video effects is a great way to fix, enhance, color correct, or stylize your clips. Let's take a look. I'm going to go into my 8.3 bin and load my pre-video effects sequence. So I'm going to be working on this shot here. I'll select it. And then I'm going to go to my effect controls panel and we'll go to the effect palette. And when we're dealing with changing the way that our clips look, we're mostly going to be dealing with this category here, video effects. There are categories and categories of effects in here. It can be a little daunting, but I encourage you to play around with them to see what they do. There are a lot of really exciting ways you can effect your video.
