- So far we've applied effects directly to clips in the timeline or to entities like adjustment layers or nests, but you can actually apply effects directly to your master clips, which is incredibly powerful. Let's take a look. I'm going to go into my 8.6 bin and load my sequence. And here I have sort of a partial sequence of Charles and I'm going to hide V2. You can see that there is, you know a lot of interview with Charles and let's imagine that I would actually like to flip my shot of Charles so that he's not facing left to right but he's facing right to left. This can be a fairly common scenario, especially when you're editing a documentary where you have lots and lots of interview subjects and too many of them are facing the same direction.
